Audio Visual

General Notes

  • Chairs will be pre-set for those presenters participating in a fireside chat or panel discussion.
  • A timer clock will be visible to speakers.
  • Moderators and presenters will be introduced to the stage via a “caricature” holding slide.
  • A clicker will be provided to signal slide advances if you have slide presentations.
  • Confidence monitors will be placed on the floor in front of the stage for presenters to see their content being projected to the screens. Presenter notes will NOT be displayed on the monitors.
  • Typically, all slides and videos will be played from our show control systems.
  • A dedicated internet connection will be provided if needed; however we discourage live demos since we cannot guarantee the internet connection will be able to support all demos.
  • Microphones: wireless lavaliers, headsets and handheld mics are available as needed.
  • To stay on schedule, if a speaker goes over the allocated time of his or her presentation, there will be a ding played and the microphone will be cut off. We regret we cannot make any exceptions.
  • All presentations must be submitted via our presentation software system. We cannot accept presentations via email or on a flash drive on the day of.


Audio/Visual Specifications

    • PowerPoint, Keynote and PDF slides may be used.
    • Design for high definition projection with 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio.
    • Please upload your specific font packages with your content, especially if you’re using non-standard font types. Slides are typically played via our show control systems.
    • Animations, builds and sound effects are welcome.
    • The HLTH Track Room Video system will be run at 1080p.
    • 1080p is a progressive HDTV signal format at a resolution of 1920×1080.
    • Aspect ratio is 16:9 (widescreen).
    • Audio system does not accept audio from HDMI.
    • Video system will have digital video connections available for your PC or Macintosh.
    • The following digital video connections are provided for you and will be readily available on the stage:


    • Apple Connections:
      • Apple Mini Display Port to DVI Adapter
      • MacBook Pro & MacBook Air (Models: 2008 and later)
      • Lightning to HDMI connector
      • iPhone
      • iPad


    • * Please note: Due to Anti-piracy protection built into some devices, not all devices will allow you to output video.
    • Audio: The connection is a standard 3.5mm output/headphone jack on your device.
