Chris Adams is a Partner with Francisco Partners and co-heads FP’s healthcare technology practice.
He has a particular passion for pharmacy and payor related software, information-enabled, and technology-enabled businesses. In addition to investing out of FP’s ~$4 billion Fund V, he also helps oversee FP’s ~$600 million Agility fund for smaller and more growth-oriented investments.
Chris currently serves on the board of directors of Availity, GoodRx, Landmark Health, Quantros, and Trellis Rx. He formerly served on the board of directors of Aesynt (acquired by Omnicell), CoverMyMeds (acquired by McKesson), NexTraq (acquired by Fleetcor), QuadraMed (acquired by Nuance and Constellation Software), and TRC Healthcare (acquired by Levine Leichtman).
Prior to joining FP, Chris was an Associate with American Securities Capital Partners and previously was a strategy consultant with Bain & Company. He has also worked at a venture capital firm in Bangalore and a technology startup in Shanghai. He earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS in Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech.
