Dr. Linda McAllister
Chief Medical Officer
Linda McAllister, M.D., Ph.D. joined Revelar Health in April 2018 as its Chief Medical Officer, bringing a wealth of experience in patient care, clinical and product research and medical technology partnerships. Her experience in developing medical device technology and diagnostics was a significant addition to the Revelar team and its continuing breakthroughs in breath science.
Before joining Revelar, Linda was VP of Scientific Affairs and Innovation at Becton Dickinson. Prior to her role with Becton Dickinson, she advised multiple early-stage device and diagnostic companies. Before her consulting, Linda held CMO positions at Xagenic, CellScape, PharmaJet, and Arbor Vita Corp. Prior to Arbor Vita Corp, she held Director positions at Roche Diagnostics and Celera. Before Celera, Linda was Scientific Liaison and Program Manager for Genotyping at Affymetrix.
Linda received her B.S in Biology and Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), where she conducted her research under the guidance of two Nobel Laureates. She received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience and M.D. from Stanford University Medical School. Linda completed her residency in internal medicine at the UCSF Hospital and was a Bugher Cardiovascular Research Fellow at Stanford working on the first DNA microarrays. She also practiced medicine part time for ten years as a clinical faculty member at UCSF.
