President and Chief Executive Officer
In nearly 10 years as CEO of Seniorlink, Tom has led the company to develop market-leading solutions that streamline how interdisciplinary care teams coordinate and provide care for complex individuals by fostering greater engagement among care teams, family caregivers, patients and care providers. Under Tom’s leadership, Seniorlink grew its footprint from one state (MA) to seven (CT, RI, IN, OH, LA, PA) and established partnerships with risk-bearing payers including state Medicaid plans, Medicaid managed care payers, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). Seniorlink’s solutions have saved state Medicaid programs over $400 million to date. Tom also led the development of the company’s proprietary care collaboration platform, Vela, that is expanding the company’s reach further to risk-bearing payer and provider entities across the country.
Based on this experience, Tom was appointed to Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker’s inaugural Council to Address Aging in 2017. Comprised of leaders across public and private sectors, the Council focuses on developing a plan to improve efforts to support healthy aging in Massachusetts, and achieve the goal of making the Commonwealth the most age-friendly state for people of all ages.
Previously, Tom was CEO of Care Advantage, a provider of high-cost case management services, and served as CFO and CEO of The MENTOR Network. He is a graduate of the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and Colby College.
